The Bachelor's Program in Smart and Sustainable Cities Engineering at Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University is the first of its kind in Jordan.
A unique program designed to bridge the gap between technology and sustainability, ensuring that our graduates are prepared to face future challenges and transform them into opportunities, and qualifies students to find innovative solutions in the fields of energy, transportation, water management and waste reduction more than ever before, especially with the rapid growth of urban populations.
The program's curriculum enhances students' knowledge of the latest technologies such as Digital Twins, Smart Grids and Internet of Things (IoT) systems, in addition to providing them with a solid foundation in sustainable urban planning, and possessing skills in using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, so that the student is able to integrate these technologies to create flexible, efficient, livable and sustainable urban environments for future generations.
Graduates of this program will not only be engineers, but leaders and innovators in the cities of the future.
