A civil engineering students from Al-Hijjawi technological engineering faculty in Yarmouk university earned the second place in the graduation projects competition and executed projects in the industrial sector.

Under the patronage of communication and Information technology minster, Eng. Mothanna Gharaibeh, Jordan Engineers association president, Eng. Ahmad Al-zoubi and chairman of Amman industry chamber, Eng. Fathi Jagbeer, the winners were awarded and their names are: Rami Bataineh, Burween Bani Hani and Sondous Mehdawi. Where the project’s title is “The Effectiveness of Intersections Controlled by Roundabouts and Traffic Signals: An Assessment Study Around Yarmouk University.” And it was under the supervision of Dr. Ahmad Hani Al-Omari, Chairman of Civi Engineering department in Yarmouk University.

It is worth mentioning that such competition is annually organized by Jordan Engineers association for engineering students in Jordan universities.
