As part of its ongoing efforts to develop its students’ skills and enhance their employment opportunities, the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University organized an official visit to the headquarters of “MadfooatCom” in the capital, Amman, to discuss possible frameworks of cooperation in practical training and career development.

The delegation included Eng. Ayman Hijjawi, Chairman of the Hijjawi Foundation, Dr. Mohammad Alzubaidi, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Dania Bani Hani, Vice Dean and Supervisor of the Career Development Unit, and Eng. Khitam Al-Shannaq, Supervisor of the Hijjawi Foundation Career Development Center at the Faculty. The delegation was received by Eng. Nasser Saleh, CEO of MadfooatCom, where an extensive discussion was held on the prospects of collaboration between the two parties.

The meeting focused on exploring ways to involve students of the faculty in specialized technical training programs conducted within the real work environment of MadfooatCom, with the aim of enhancing practical skills and linking academic knowledge to real-life applications in the fintech sector. Discussions also covered supporting student entrepreneurial projects, as well as providing paid internship opportunities or potential employment for outstanding students. Both parties emphasized the importance of building bridges between the academic and private sectors to graduate engineers capable of keeping up with the demands of digital transformation and technological innovation in Jordan and the region.

In this context, Dr. Mohammad Alzubaidi, Dean of Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, expressed his appreciation for MadfooatCom’s efforts in supporting vocational education. He stressed the Faculty’s belief in the importance of integrating academic learning with practical application, and stated that this visit represents an important step towards building a strategic partnership that will directly benefit the students. Alzubaidi also praised MadfooatCom’s openness to cooperation, which will result in the implementation of high-quality training programs that will help prepare qualified engineering cadres capable of keeping pace with rapid technological advancements.

At the conclusion of the visit, both parties affirmed their intention to continue coordination to establish a practical framework for future cooperation, reflecting the Faculty’s commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience based on professionalism and innovation.
