The Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University has published the 16th edition of its periodic electronic newsletter in English.
This issue coincides with the conclusion of the 2024/2025 academic year and the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year. It features a message from the Dean, Prof. Mohammad Alzubaidi, highlighting the faculty’s key achievements over the past year. Among the most notable accomplishments are the submission of the ABET accreditation application for the Architectural Engineering program, the application for Jordanian accreditation for all undergraduate programs after successfully aligning them with the National Qualifications Framework, and the pursuit of ISO accreditation for the faculty. The Dean also reviewed several initiatives, including the launch of the Career Development Unit, the organization of the first Annual Alumni and Career Forum, and the securing of external funding for developmental projects and new academic programs.
In addition, the Dean’s message outlined the faculty’s strategic objectives for 2025/2026, which focus on enhancing both national and international accreditations, introducing new specialized academic programs, upgrading laboratories, expanding local and international partnerships, and hosting the faculty’s first scientific conference.
As in previous editions, this issue also features a group of distinguished alumni, along with updates on faculty news, student activities, and the most significant accomplishments of faculty members.
