Hijjawi Faculty of Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University welcomed a group of tenth-grade male students from the BTEC program at Edison School. The visit, organized by the Department of Electronics Engineering under the supervision of its Head, Dr. Yusra Obeidat, aimed to introduce the students to various engineering disciplines and foster their connection to practical applications.

The visit focused on familiarizing the students with the field of electronics engineering and its applications. The department prepared a comprehensive program that included a presentation on the available specializations within the faculty, with a particular emphasis on electronics engineering and its associated job opportunities both locally and internationally. The presentation also showcased the department's laboratories and student projects.

The visit included a tour of the department's laboratories, accompanied by teachers Arin Al-Salaymeh and Saleh Al-Naasan. Laboratory engineers provided detailed explanations of the equipment used and the practical experiments conducted, along with demonstrations of several interactive projects that simulate real-world applications in the field. The visit concluded with a discussion of ways to enhance future cooperation, which would contribute to supporting and making the BTEC program a success, as it is one of the national programs aimed at developing technical education and improving its outcomes in schools.
